Some Terminological Issues in Juvenile Delinquency

Abstract

The area of juvenile delinquency encompasses heterogeneous phenomena and is the subject of several different scientific disciplines, including the law, sociology, psychology, and psychiatry. In the article, definitions of this and other concepts were reviewed and discussed, including the aggressive behaviour, violence, externalized (undercontrolled) syndrome, conduct disorders, psychopathy, antisocial personality disorder, dissocial personality disorder, and antisocial behaviour of children and juveniles in conflict with the law and at risk, as well as the asocial behaviour.
