Sexual Harassment at Work and Current Responses

The paper discusses the problem of sexual harassment at work, whose characteristics have been realised under the wider context of gender (in)equality and discrimination. Particular attention is given to the most important EU acts that prohibit sexual harassment at work and suggest adequate protection mechanisms. It is also given an overview of national legislative in this domain proceeded by conclusion that only a few initial steps in creating the adequate mechanisms of protection from sexual harassment in the workplace have been made so far.
