About the Journal

Zbornik Instituta za kriminološka i sociološka istraživanja (Zbornik IKSI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research (Belgrade, Serbia). The journal has been continuously published since 1972 and appears three times per year.

Zbornik IKSI publishes original scientific and professional papers in criminology, sociology, victimology, penology, and related interdisciplinary social science fields in Serbian and English, including original research articles, review articles, short communications, professional papers, book reviews, and other article types in accordance with the national Rulebook on the Categorisation and Ranking of Scientific Journals. All submissions undergo a double-anonymised peer-review process. The journal is indexed and classified as a Leading National Scientific Journal (M51) according to the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia.

Current Issue

Vol. 45 No. 2 (2026): Online First

This forthcoming issue contains articles that have been accepted for publication, peer-reviewed, copyedited and typeset, and assigned to Volume 45, Issue 2 (2026) of Zbornik IKSI. The articles are made available online prior to the completion and publication of the full issue.

Articles published Online First have been assigned a DOI and represent the version accepted for publication and prepared for final publication. As the issue is still in preparation, the articles do not yet have page numbers. Pagination and the final order of articles will be assigned when the issue is formally completed and published.

Publication Online First does not indicate that the issue is complete.
